A little over five years ago, I blogged a cross-country road-trip for the New London Day, one of the finest independent newspapers left in America. I thought I had lost this correspondence forever because I never bothered to save the posts anywhere, and The Day understandably didn’t see much value in saving the meanderings of a lost youth.
But through the magic of gmail’s ever-expanding storage capacity, I found all eight entries to the blog. I have resurrected them here in their original form. I hope that some of these posts can be used as historical records in the growing field of Pimpology, a growing field. I new so little back then.
These go out to my friends Will and Pimp, probably the only ones who still care. We were so young and full of hope.
